"As telecom contractor we use a variety of tools for underground lines, including backhoes, skid steers, full size trenchers and manual labor. I went to Ditchwitch New England with the SK650 in mind, the salesman was great, second only to the machine itself. I received the SK650 4 days after signing the paperwork, and it went right to work. I originally purchased mine with the 44 inch bucket, but purchased the 6-way blade, 24 inch trencher and pallet forks shortly after.
Working with Dan is great; he answered all my questions, helped me with financing, and answers my post-sale/support questions. With the SK650 I am able to consolidate my equipment needs from 3 machines to 1. The capabilities are endless. In the future I intend to purchase a matching trailer and a tiller attachment.

"Having been in the irrigation business for over 30 years, and owning a fleet of Ditch Witch’s (three V252’s and six 255SX’s) for just as long, I never thought I would need another model machine to install my polypipe. However, when I saw the new Zahn R300, I was intrigued. After deciding to take a leap of faith and replacing four machines with this one machine and a few front ends, I became a believer. My foreman, who was so comfortable with operating the 255SX, was the most skeptical. But when he reported back to me and told me it was the best puller he had ever used, I knew I had made the right decision. It pulls further, faster and turns tighter than the 255SX, yet it still has the same footprint. We also bought trencher and boring attachments which are just as effective and make this machine a true workhorse for any irrigation contractor.

"Because the irrigation trade requires specialized pipe pullers and equipment, I have never been optimistic about multi-task machines. We need a pipe puller that pulls pipe well, not a machine that performs a multitude of tasks marginally. When we tested the Zahn R300, we were all impressed with its superior ability to pull pipe. This machine pulls pipe better than any machine we have ever used. Not only that, but it trenching capability far surpassed our expectations. With these two tools combined with a grading bucket, we have been able to reduce our equipment dependency from 3 specialized pieces to one amazingly effective and versatile piece."
